Do you remember the year 1984?
What a good time it was. Nearly two decades ago God introduced Maurice and Telie to one another. Fast forward 22 years later; the two powerhouses collaborate to form Miracle Media, the parent company of Think Positive! Magazine © and Think Positive! for Kids ©.
Collectively, the co-founders of Miracle Media believe that a movement is beginning to build momentum among urban communities. To put it simply, trading negative thoughts for productive ones. They bring a combined 12 years of expertise ranging from sales and marketing to information technology.
Do you really know what you are capable of? This is the question that Telie Woods consistently asks of himself. Mr. Woods is a native of Chicago's south side, which is not only his home but also his inspiration.
"I want to show youth, that come from where I'm from, that they can make it too."
Telie is excited about the future of young professionals and what can be accomplished through the power of communication and identification.
"My focus is to supply a solution to a need. I believe many urban communities are in drastic need of options different than what we've been presented in the past."
With Miracle Media and Think Positive! Magazine ©, we look to challenge the current mind state that may not be as expedient as possible. Telie is alumni of Robert Morris College.
"If you change ones thinking, you change the state of that person, and thus you change society."
Maurice D. White is intent on positively impacting the urban community. A passionate believer in positive thinking, his mission is to help educate, encourage, and empower a generation. Born and raised on the South Side of Chicago, Maurice has overcome a multitude of inner-city obstacles and was able to achieve many successes. Those successes include the earning of two college degrees, the acquisition of valuable years of Corporate America experience, the launching of profitable business ventures, as well as the building of a flourishing Real Estate portfolio.
Encouraged by his accomplishments and empowered by his experiences, Maurice knows that self advancement leads to group advancement and plans to use Think Positive! Magazine © as a vehicle for societal improvement.
